Special need Passengers
We recommend at least 3½ hours of connection time, flights may stop for refueling and other operational necessities, Air Sunshine assumes no responsibility for expenses from failure to depart or arrive at times stated, nor for the failure to make connections to other flights.
Due to the size and design of our aircraft we can only accommodate passengers that are able to climb the aircraft steps on their own power, reasonable assistance is given upon request however regulations do not permit our employees to lift or carry customers.
Please call 1-800-327-8900 or 954-434-8900 to confirm your request for a wheel chair the day before departure, at most airports our ticket counters maybe staffed with only one ticket agent and therefore immediate assistance may not be available however we can always try and attempt to arrange a third party contractor upon request if you don't wish to wait.
Traveling with your own Wheelchair
One wheelchair per passenger will be accepted and transported at no additional charge. Advance notice is required due to space limitations on the aircraft. Only collapsible, non-motorized wheelchairs or other assistive devices are accepted due to the space limitations of our aircraft.
FAA regulations prohibit transportation of battery powered wheelchairs inside of the passenger cabin.
